Lee Nathans is a licensed property and casualty as well as life and health insurance broker. He serves on the Board of the Columbus Association of Health Underwriters. He has co-chaired committees on Continuing Education and Legislation and currently serves as the Chair of the Community Outreach Committee. He has special interests in helping the uninsured, especially uninsured children, obtain insurance coverage. Lee has received the Community Service Award from the Ohio Association of Health Underwriters in 2009 and 2010.
Prior to becoming an insurance broker, Lee was Operations Director for a retail auto parts chain in Central and Western Ohio. Lee began his career working in the public sector. He served as a consultant with the International City Management Association in Washington, D.C. working with mayors and city managers on improving their police departments. He then moved on to Cleveland, where his work on manpower analysis with the Cleveland Police Department lead to the creation of the Cleveland Emergency Medical Service System which he served as its initial Director.
Lee has a BA from The Ohio State University and a MS from American University in Washington, D.C. He is also a Registered Health Underwriter.
